I promised a while back (in Episode 1 of the podcast) that I would write an article detailing my interpretation of John 3:16. However, writing that article would require me to accurately explain a lot of the original Greek (I know next to nothing about Greek) and I honestly don’t feel qualified to try to explain such detailed things on the internet (where any silly mistakes I make will be immortalized for all of time). So, after putting off writing the article for a month or two, I figured I would simply take a shortcut and post a link to an existing article that articulates my position much more thoroughly than I probably could. You can see that article here: https://thirdmill.org/answers/answer.asp/file/45604. I wish I could have made a better response myself, but when it comes to the intricacies of ancient languages, sometimes it is better to let the experts do the work.
